Elham considers exchange of hostages as a reasonable solution - Irna:

"Government spokesman Gholam-Hossein Elham said here Tuesday that exchange of hostages is a reasonable solution to the conflicts initiated in Lebanon and Palestine by the Zionist regime.

Turning to the crimes of the Zionist regime during its attacks on the defenseless people of Lebanon and Palestine, he said that security will be established in the region, once such crimes are stopped and hostages are exchanged.

The government spokesman said that exchange of hostages will prepare the grounds for tranquility in the region.

Elham dismissed the claim on Iran's meddling in the recent conflict in Lebanon and Palestine, which was initiated by Israel, and said that the nature of the Zionist regime is subject to question.

'Given the Zionists are facing domestic, structural and identity problems, they have no option, but to resort to mischief,' he added.

Stressing that mischief will solve no problem, he called on the international community to pay attention to the root-cause of problems rather than accusing the oppressed.

The government spokesman pointed to the Palestinian officials taken hostage by the Zionist regime and said if such measures are not taken, security will not be disrupted.

'If the Zionist regime stops committing crimes, security will be established.

'Blaming others for the problems is a political game aiming to get away with difficulties by resorting to mischief,' he added."
