Government spokesman Gholam-Hossein Elham said here Tuesday that Iran will do its best to promote peace, security and justice in the region and world.

The attack on Lebanon had been planned in advance. The type of aggression of the Zionist regime indicates a preplanned move and readiness to launch an attack on a Islamic state.

'The remaining points brought up in this regard were just pretexts which cannot be justified,' he added.
